Thong Nai Pan — quiet luxury

The yoga-and-detox heartland, with sunset-facing beaches like Zen Beach and a cluster of retreats and vegan cafés. If you’re here to slow down, base yourself west and explore the wellness scene. The west coast also has the L’Occitane-branded spa resort Kupu Kupu Phangan.
Ban Tai & Thong Sala — convenient & central
Near the pier and the island’s best-value beachfront, including the huge Vannee Golden Sands. Good for first nights, easy transfers and the island’s best restaurants.
